A Morning Tapestry
a smudge of gnats
beclouds the morning sky . .
.
to paint the joy my soul craves
I write sunshine, a wren
singing,
a violet by the wayside

Dear Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteLike the way this poem begins, "a smudge of gnats" quite unique and bids me 'read on.
Thank you,
Michael
An ingenious crossover, Elizabeth, "...I write sunshine..." is the kind of imaginative creation that animates the poetry I like to read, thanks.
