Alice
Lovely whispers embrace soft
rays of sunlight. Quiet, playful
cries come through the sounds
as lullabies sooth children's
fragile fingers. Gripping stems and
leaves, they flew by, strands of
honeydew glistening upon the
afternoon light, paper airplanes
bashfully lingering near. Scents
of glue and cookies sweep
through the air, kissing lightly
the sweet scent of sugar and tea
and anything else that would
have adults
sigh
nostalgically.
