Black Crow--ByTammy Manikas--United States

Black Crow

Black is the crow that stalks my days.
Can see him even through the darkest of haze.
He flies from tree to tree, the only
one that notices me.
Why for me has he come?
I am invisible to everyone.
He taunts me with his haunting tone.
Reminding me that I am all alone.
I try to speak to him with my mind,
wanting to know, to me was he assigned?
A frown formed on my face, silently
hoping that he leaves this place.
An angry feeling he does instill.
I turn my back, but he flies closer still.
A sideways look he throws my way.
He whispers, numbered now
are your last days.

    1. Thank you Marie. I usually don't like the things I write, but I absolutely loved this one the moment I finished it and read it aloud.
