orange crescent moon
holds memories of the night
her silver cup
________

early daybreak rain
nestled birds still in shadows
awaiting their song
________

    Nice Haiku Carl, but would be nicer if they could have a title to remember then by. Only my opinion. Good writing.

      Just to let you know-individual haiku are not titled in haiku publications. There is a lot of misinformation out in general publications. Glad you posed your thought so that others may become more familiar with literary presentations of Asian verse.
