-silhouette of pale light--By Rick Parise--United States

-silhouette of pale light-

the curtain of torn promise
falls in a flood of darkness
forging amid confusion
searching a desolate path
the desperate vagabond
stumbles through the cold fortress
lost in the shadows of night
