From the Archives—Haiku Moments—Featuring Chen-ou Liu, Raamesh Gowri Raghavan, Ron C. Moss, Angelee Deodhar, Ali Znaidi and Arvinder Kaur

Dear Whispers’ Readers,

Haiku is one of the most widely published forms in the world, yet there lingers so many misconceptions and misinformation.  It is especially sad when teachers share inaccuracies with young writers.  I am still in the learning stages of this form after several years of studying.  It is my hope that through all the talented haiku artists publishing haiku at Whispers, writers will see the depth of these concise poems.  The poems below are from gifted haiku poets.

In the months ahead, I plan to feature more poetry from our talented contributors, keeping these columns short enough to be read.  Thank you for all your encouragement as we continue our writing journey.

Blessings,

Karen O’Leary
