Poetry Moments
a new child arrives
Brahms lullaby is playing
...the world will go on.

flight of fantasy
hummingbirds dart to and fro
spring breezes return.
__________________
sound of waterfall
splashing water fills the air
muffled by the sound.
__________________
storm clouds gathering
teardrops falling like raindrops
nourishing my soul.
__________________
summer wind won't bend
its direction is its own
life becomes a kite.

Thomas Canull, in his early seventies, is a
man of modest means who since his retirement has become a 'Haikuist of
note' with several of his poems being published in the Japanese on line media
Asahi Shimbun. He posts a 'thought for the week' and 'haiku for the week' for
one of the local Starbucks stores. He is also Co-founder of Hope 4 U bracelet
Ministries.
