His Image
Forgive my transgressions,
for my sins are against You.
In realizing my sins,
I sense Your pain.
for my sins are against You.
In realizing my sins,
I sense Your pain.
Teach me kindness
to cleanse my heart.
In learning compassion,
I find inner peace.
to cleanse my heart.
In learning compassion,
I find inner peace.
Fill me with truth
to become genuine.
In being unpretentious,
I walk with You.

Oh, the pain of existence when we realise our shortcomings in the eyes of God, together with our deep longing to change. A heartfelt poem.

Marc you have a beautiful gift in being able to express deep emotions that we all feel but are reluctant/embarrassed/ashamed to admit!
