The co-founder of the New Orleans Haiku Society, Johnette Downing is a multi-award winning children's book author, musician and haiku poet. She has received twenty-one awards for her music, books and haiku and has performed in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Central America, North America and the Caribbean.
