Golden
Reeds
and a lone bicycle
wheels large faces
slender fingered air
brush cheeks of tulips
dainty, naïve maidens;
his hands pick tenderly
rubbing lithe necks
easing off their stems
a fresh emptied vase
awaits colourful heads.
