early Easter
frozen roof nails
steam in the sun

record heat a taste of sky and dark thunder

Mothers’ Day
a stone cemetery blooms
with fresh flowers
_____________

the light steps of a hooded plover on sacred ground
_____________

campaign bushfire
the chime of raindrops
on my helmet
 _____________
