Special Feature Collaborative Poem--By ayaz daryl nielsen and Peggy Dugan French--United States

the meadow

By ayaz daryl nielsen and Peggy Dugan French

filled with dove and meadowlark
the meadow outside my window ablaze in song
hymns of awakening and well-being
spill into the valley through the pines
wild grasses and flowers sway to the rhythm
a new peace falls over me
and it seems I’m so much more than I was
long ago, lost in the world without you

  2. What a stunning collaboration. The poem is filled with peace and I found myself reading slower, inhaling the words so to speak. Sharing the song filled meadow with someone you love does feel like your last two lines--" it seems I'm so much more than I was/ long ago, lost in the world without you."

    thank you daryl and Peggy.

  7. In the meadow
    the duo of talented poets
    find peace among the pines
    flowers and grass

they transmit it through a verbal construct/mode
    called poetry
    and readers, too, experience the
    identical peace and the nirvana
by being transported there with the doves and larks!
