The Meeting of the Flowers

The flowers all sat in a row

With daffodil's face all aglow

Rose spoke first saying, "Now that it's spring

We should savor the sunshine it brings"

Weeping willow started to cry

Knowing someday her friends would die

But cheerful daisy said with a grin,

"Not to worry, come spring we will sprout again."

Bluebell ended the meeting with a chime

Thus ending the meeting, and with it, this rhyme.
