"All Will be
Well"
As rain pours down
In silver streak sheets
Plants seem to long
For its nourishing embrace
Earth's great gift from the sky
Sent to feed and replenish
Giving a sense of tranquility
And reassuring calmness
Letting the world know
All will be well

Dear James,
ReplyDeleteThank you for writing this reassuring poem in a season of upset and acrimony in our country.
Michael
There has definitely been a bitter division in our country since the election, glad I could lighten up the mood a bit. I'm happy you enjoyed it, thanks for the comment.

James, well written and so thought provoking. "Into each life some rain will fall" But spiritually speaking, it does help us grow toward the light. Welcome to whispers.

Dear James Dennis Casey, Thanks for introducing this gem. We all who are humble may grow from the experience of reading it. I doubt those who dwell in hate will even notice or pay attention. For them all will not be well, contradicting your title.
