my shadow…By Karen O'Leary--United States

my shadow…    (cinquain)

softly
moves at my side,
yearning to be released…
my soul soars leaving my shadow
behind

    2. Hi Karen Thanks for this poem.
I envisage two presences a divine presence and an earthly presence, the push and pull between them.
You sound at peace though so keep writing and experiencing.
