For Every Cry--By Tine Perlas-Heraldo--United States

For Every Cry--English

I live for every cry,
feeling each and every
flow of tears.
The sight is blurred,
my pathway distorted
as I think of you.
Confusion takes place
as I watch the
candlelight dance.
Life is silken:
it’s fickle and
it slips from the touch.
It's true what they say:
a tear is nothing
but a nuisance.

Sa Bawat Hikbi--Tagalog

Ako'y buhay sa bawat hikbi.
Ramdam ang bawat pagdaloy
at pagragasa ng mga luha.
Mapusyaw ang paningin
sa aking nilalakaran, habang
mataimtim kang iniisip.
Nalilitong kaharap ang pagsayaw
ng isang paupos na kandila.
Waring isang telang seda
ang yari ng pag-asa:
madulas at mailap sa hawak.
Totoo palang nakakainis ang
mga balakid na luha.
