Haiku--By Nicholas Klacsanzky--Ukraine

I write a letter
to father . . .
evergreen bark

work stress
across the street
the nun walks

coyote calls
return to the neighborhood--
Madrona bark

Mumbai smog--
he eats dal and rice
each meal

Nicholas Klacsanzky is an editor from Kyiv, Ukraine. His haiku have been published in such publications as Modern Haiku, Frogpond, The Manichi, A Hundred Gourds, and many more.
