Life Lessons--By Eleanor Michael--United States

Life Lessons

Most of us
start adult life
with a plan,
but it seems
the sooner
we stop resisting,
learn to hang on
by our fingernails
and survive,
the better we can.

Eleanor Michael has published poetry and short stories in a variety of venues.
